Sims 4 isn't downloading due to location.

Help! my Sims 4 isn't downloading and this message keeps popping up and I don't know what to do. Origin is not able to download the sims 4 to /Applications/The Sims 4.app/Support/mnfst.txt_DiP_STAGE...

Please right click on the game in your Applications folder and choose Show Package Contents from the menu that appears

Open the Support folder, is there a file in there called mnfst.tx?

  Great, the file is there. Where is your game install location, is it the default location set in Origin > Installs & Saves (which is your user account Applications folder) or have you changed it at all, maybe to the system Applications folder in Macintosh HD or an external drive?
  
  Have you just purchased the game to install or a new pack you are trying to install?

    @Bluebellflora I was trying to update my game when the message popped up.
    
    I went into the install and saves and the location was just Applications. Is that right? Should I press the restore default button?
