Great, the file is there. Where is your game install location, is it the default location set in Origin > Installs & Saves (which is your user account Applications folder) or have you changed it at all, maybe to the system Applications folder in Macintosh HD or an external drive?

- @Bluebellflora I was trying to update my game when the message popped up.
I went into the install and saves and the location was just Applications. Is that right? Should I press the restore default button?- @imta13
No, that seems fine. Does it say /Applications or /Users/YourUserName/Applications?
Do you get the option to repair your game when you right click on it in your games library? If so can you repair?
There are quite a few sporadic reports of this affecting various game files during updates but I haven't seen a definitive solution yet.
