macOS sierra

imac (21.5-inch, mid 2011)
processor 2.5 GHz intel core i5
memory 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
startup disk macintosh HD
graphics AMD radeon HD 6750M 512 MB
***my family have been unable to update sierra, we won't get into that but it crashes our mac for a while every time we try

are you attempting to play the normal version of the game or the legacy edition? legacy
are you running any antivirus? SOPHOS
have you tried to repair the game in origin? right click on the game in my games and select repair game. no oops. will do that and add to this thread
do you use CC/mods? if so, have you tried removing them and seeing if that fixes your problem? yes and yes. it did not fix the problem.

Thanks 🙂 Do you have iCloud Drive set up to store your Documents folder in the cloud? You can check in System Preferences > iCloud. If you do could you please check how much storage is left on your Mac?
