    Thanks. And you didn't move any of your previous content such as mods/CC, saves, settings over to the new folder?

    I think the problem may be a performance issue with your Mac, not an issue with the game. Try closing all other apps so only Finder and Origin are running. If you have any background apps running such as Spotify/Drive/antivirus/scanning, as indicated in the top right section of the menu bar, close those too. Have a look in Activity Monitor and see what is using significant processing and graphics power and if you can, quit the processes making sure it has no bearing on the OS.

    You could also try playing in a new user account on your Mac. and see if there is an improvement.

Sorry I'm aware this issue is 2 months old, I started school recently and work a lot so I haven't played much recently. I can confirm this is an issue with the game itself and not my Mac or the installation. It most likely occurred after ea made a native apple silicon port, I never had this problem running the game through rosetta. There's some type of issue with the animations smoothing and the frame rate of the walking animation being different from the frame rate the rest of the scene is being rendered at. Its become to the point where the game is simple unplayable because its such a strain on my eyes and I have a friend who also has an m1 MacBook and has the same issue. Id really appreciate it if this is looked into more. Look at the sims when they walk, you may notice them to be stuttering and bouncing while the rest of the game maintains a consistent Frame rate. Ive wiped my Mac completely and reinstalled Mac OS played the game at the lowest settings (even though m1 is listed as an uber tier gpu in the graphics card.sgr file) and the problem persists.
