Sims 4 Mods not working on external drive (Mac)

So I’ve recently bought a 2TB external hard drive to move my games to from my MacBook. My game runs fine on the drive, but anytime I try to re-add my mods to the mods folder it gives me a message tha...

@alliexmo  How is your external hard drive formatted?  If you don't mind erasing what's on there, try formatting it as Mac OS Extended (Journaled).
