Hi! I'm trying to download mods/cc on my mac for the Sims 4. I have the packages in my Mods folder found through Documents>Electronic Arts>Sims 4>Mods but still I can't see them in my game! I have triple checked that mods are allowed in the game options and still nothing. I have tried multiple different mods, too. HELP!!

@tierra3473 , you need to make sure that you are downloading and using the most updated version of the mods you are interested in playing. The November 2018 patch rendered many mods unplayable as EA/Maxis updated their version of a program they use to create the game. You need to go back to the mod creators and check to see that they have updated their mods to work with the February patch (PC version 1.50.67.1020/Mac 1.50.67.1220). You also need to make sure that all your Mods end in the ".package" extension and I believe you said you said you did check this. Double check again please. Also add only one mod at a time to see if it the is recognizing it and is changing the game play as you wanted. If none of these are working, double with the creators and read their blogs/websites for instructions on how to install their mods. Please keep us updated. Also remember that EA/Maxis does not support 3rd party content and you will need to communicate with the creators to assist you further.

Sims 4 Mods/CC Help?!

Thanks for responding! Sorry for these questions, I am new to this, but how to I check to see if the mods work with the February patch you're talking about? For example, I found cc that I like that was just uploaded a couple weeks ago, shouldn't this be up to date?

Omg can you please help me!! I have a Macbook Pro and i've done everything right just like you but still cannot see the cc in my game. What did you do to fix this?

I have the newest update of the sims 4 and I am also experiencing problems with having my cc show up in game. its in the correct foler, mods under sims 4, and everything is right, in game the mods and cc is also turned on but nothing is working!!! I am getting so frustrated to the point that I don't even want to play sims now. It was working earlier and all of the cc I have for build mode I am able to see, but the package files in my mods folder I CANNOT see!! I am doing everything right and my sister even does the same thing I do and its working for her! PLEASE HELP I hate playing without CC and this is so ANNOYING!!!!!

Can you please click once on one of the CC files that isn't showing up to select it then go to File > Get Info. Under the General > Where section near the top of the info window please copy and paste the location of the file here.
