Sims 4 not loading at all on Macbook (Jan 2024)

I've tried literally everything - I'm pretty sure I've managed to load the game on this same laptop before but nothing is working. I've restarted origin and my Mac, I've reinstalled and repaired the ...

I can open mine but a lot of images from packs that arent base game wont show, My sims in current saves wont load its only a plumbob, I cant make a new sim it just loads forever. I have no mods installed its an a2337 mac book with an m1 chip

Which update? A Sims 4 update or a macOS update?

Please post a screenshot of the image issue you describe.

mine started also after the new macOS update. I think it´s a Mac problem because I bought a new windows pc and it works as god as new. 🙂

  It may be a Mac problem on your machine but it isn't affecting all Mac users. Have you set up a new user account on your Mac and tried to play the game in that account? Make sure you allow all macOS permissions when prompted.

    @Bluebellflora no I have not tried it yet but I guess it might be outdated mods or incompatible mods, but somehow it affects my Mac. Because it´s impossible to launch the game from my Mac after I download my mods into the Mac. I have no clue what mod it is. But I´ll update if I find it.
