Sims 4 Screen Glitch

Platform:Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.91.186.1230
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Cats & Dogs, City Living, Cottage Living, Discover University, Eco Lifestyle, Get Famous, Get to Work, Get Together, High School Years, Seasons, Snowy Escape, Dine Out, Jungle Adventure, Parenthood, Spa Day, Strangerville, Bowling Night Stuff, Laundry Day Stuff, My First Pet Stuff, Vintage Glamour Stuff
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. Open your game. 2. Go into either CAS/BB or Gameplay 3. Click on anything and it will (for me) glitch
What happens when the bug occurs? My whole screen glitches for about one second.
What do you expect to see? No glitches.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

Hey,

I've been having a bug in my game for a while and EA support won't help me resolve it since every time I request help they either help me for a windows device or a playstation. I've tried with and without mods and asked multiple discord servers for help so this is my last hope. I play The Sims 4 on my 2020 MacBook Air and whenever I'm in either CAS, B&B or gameplay my screen glitches whenever I use my mouse or trackpad to select anything. It's really annoying and not something I can ignore since it literally happens all the time. I really really hope someone can help. Thank you so much.

    I’m doubt it is a game bug, more a graphics issue with your Mac. Can you upload a video of it happening? What do you mean by glitching, what is happening?

    Hey. Thanks for replying. I think you're right because when my graphics are set at the lowest it happens less but I can't play with low graphic settings at all. The answers hq won't let me upload my video but technically my screen pixelates into tiny rainbow coloured squares for a split second. That happens to my whole screen in gameplay and only in the middle of the screen during CAS and BB. I hope that can help if not I bet there is a way I can get that video to you. Thank you so much!
