Sims 4 stuck on Finzalizing when attempting to install to hard drive

Did anyone find a fix to this problem that worked for them? i am having the exact same problem with installing sims onto a hard drive. I have tried the origin reset tool but it hasn't done anything.

    Did you check that Origin and the game has full disk and Files and Folders access in System Preferences?
