Sims 4 stuck on update loop

I updated my sims 4 and instead of the usual play button it’s still says update. Doesn’t matter what I do. I restarted my computer, re downloaded origin, cleared the cache, repaired files, and nothin...

@Bugluvr when you reinstalled origin, did you use the Origin reset tool for mac? It can make a big difference. (your post got placed in PC issues, but it should be in Mac issues)

@DeanXeLI didn’t realize, I apologize! I was originally looking at someone with a similar issues and I guess made a topic in the pc section like they did.

I tried the origin reset tool and the issue still persists.
