SIMS 4 UNKNOWN ERROR MAC

Hi,

I just downloaded sims 4 on my macbook pro M1 (the system requirenments are met) but when I try to launch it an unknown error pops up. I found no solution on the internet, can someone help?

    No, it is separate. I'm referring to access for the game folder. Have a look in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Files & Folders.

    Are you running an outdated version of macOS for a specific reason? Maybe an update in a later version will help if your problem is related to the OS.

    Where is the game installed on your Mac? User Applications folder, System Applications folder, external drive?

    Did you allow Origin and the game all permissions prompted for during the installation process? Do you have an Administrator account on your Mac?

    @Bluebellflora, thanks for your resposne.

    It is installed in /Users/<my_username>/Applications folder. I am using Administrator account. Origin didn't ask for any permissions during the installation but i manually granted Origin "full disk access" in Security & Privacy settings. I reinstalled the game after that but the error still pops up.

    Yes, but it is automatically granted if full disk access is checked.

    I am running macOS Monterey 12.1
