Sims 4 won't work after latest patch (august 2021)

Yes I've tried that as well as repairing the game in origin but the issue is still there

    Ok. Is there a lastCrash report in the Sims 4 folder? Please copy/paste the contents or attach it to a post here.

        That’s odd, if it’s crashing there should be one.

        If you’ve uninstalled and reinstalled and tried a brand new clean vanilla game with no previous saves, settings, tray items and other previous user data then not sure what the problem could be.

        Maybe your 8-year old Mac is starting to struggle as more content is added to the game and the requirements increase?
