I used to play The Sims 4 on a Windows PC, but since I was moving away from home, I downloaded the game on my MacBook Air.
Everytime I start the game, I get the message Sims Delivery Error, and when I try to go on the gallery, I click go online and I just loads forever. I can still play my saves with no problem. I have been trying to fix this issue for the past month and looked through many different posts on here and nothing works. I really don't want to miss the Reaper's rewards event, but since I can't get SDX drops, I can't play it.
I don't have an anti-virus, but I allowed full disk access to the sims 4, since for some reason I can't add anything to files and folders. I also allowed incoming connections for the EA app in Firewall advanced settings. I tried using my phone's data and it didn't change anything, I tried using a different wifi and it didn't do anything. I cleared the EA app's cache, and deleting the cache files from the sims 4 folder, I repaired the game, reinstalled everything. I've tried all the things I saw on here and nothing seems to work. The only things I haven't tried are using a VPN or creating a new user on my computer. I don't know if these will even work. Also, I don't have mods and I removed my cc.
Also the Home screen after I launch the game looks weird. There's usually a bunch of tiles with links and whatnot, and ever since I downloaded the game on my Mac, there are only two tiles, and the event tab is not there. I put a picture in this post. I have seen people have this issue in other posts, but they were using Windows.
I currently live in a residence on my school's campus, so I use the school's wifi, which often only has 2 bars, but I don't know if that really matters.
Please help me and thanks!
