The sims 4 sim & computer pie menu lag

Since around maybe March, I’ve been

experiencing laggy/delayed pie menus for my sims and computers. At first I believed the delay was due to mods or custom content so I decided to remove both my mods and cc, but the lag of the pie menus was still there. I’m not sure if this is a game bug or something but it’s keeping me from my playing my game which is really annoying and a little bit disappointing as well. I would really like some help on coming up with a solution if anyone has one.
