Thank you for your suggestion. I trashed that file and returned the settings to defaults, and I found that the graphics issues almost 100% reoccurred with the "Vertical Sync" on. I turned it off once, but there was noticeable visual tearing when I zoom in or out and rotate.😢

How annoying! I have the same model MBA as you but haven’t noticed any graphics issues since upgrading to Ventura. I don’t have any other apps open when I play and play in windowed mode with all settings on high. Does it happen in windows mode for you or only fullscreen?

I used to play in fullscreen mode with no other apps open. Like magic, I played it on windows mode just now, and the screen flickering issues are gone. Thank you!! But still, I hope to play The Sims fullscreen and I will see whether the next update would fix this glitch. 👼🏻

When did it start happening, has it always been like that on the M1 Mac? I always play in windowed mode as I find it far more stable. You can make the window as big as the desktop so it's like fullscreen, almost 🙂
