Which Mac is best to play the sims 4?

Question

I had an iMac but stuff happened with my father and we are switching computers. He has an older MacBook Air. It is a few operating systems behind. So I’m gonna assume it cannot run sims. Especially with the several packs I have. I don’t really have the money to buy a new computer, but it’ll a waste all the time and money I spent on the game. It’s one of the only games I can play with my infant. So what would be the cheapest option that’ll run the sims?&nbsp;

If you want a laptop, ideally a 16" MacBook Pro with dedicated graphics card or you could go for a refurbed 15" with dedicated graphics. Look for AMD discrete graphics in the description.

You will be able to play on a 13" MacBook Pro but they have Intel integrated graphics although good processors now in the new Touch Bar ones.

But if you need something cheap to game on, buy a PC.
