Why game so slow

y’all why is the loading screen tske 30 mins i know it ain’t my wi-fi bc we js paid it and i got full bars on EVERYTHING and it’s taken 30 mins to load and we gotta force quit it for it load whsy is it going on i done fell asleep waiting for it can y’all fix it pls🥹💙 thank yewwwww🥰

    It can be for a variety of reasons and will be down to you to find the issue:

    • low spec. machine struggling to run the game
    • an overstuffed Mods folder which takes the game a long time to load
    • game installed on an external hard drive that isn't fast enough

    Plus other possible reasons. If you follow these instructions to test a new Sims 4 folder how long does it take to load?
