Will Sims 4 Crash My MacBook Air 2013?
I really want to get Sims 4, or any of the sims games to be honest, but I'm terrified of it breaking my computer. My computers specs are:
Processor-1.3 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory-4 GB 1600MHZ DDR3
Graphics-Intel HD Graphics 5000 1536 MB
The computer may crash, but it won't break. You will likely experience heat buildup and fan noise. If the computer gets too warm, it will shut down as a safety measure.
I think The Sims 4 might be too much for a 2013 MacBook Air, but you could give it a test run as part of an Origin Access subscription or by buying the game and refunding it should it not perform to your standards (doesn't apply to disc copies).
