hi guys, how do u download winrar on mac? i am asking here because i am assuming you know how if u use cc. thanks.

You don't need to necessarily use Winrar to extract files. There are other apps out there. I use The Unarchiver, it hasn't let me down once yet 🙂 https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/the-unarchiver/id425424353?mt=12

do you know how to download winrar anyways though because i would like to use it for something else as well 🙂

yes i have researched some tutorials but they dont seem to be working for me so i downloaded the app you suggested. i have tried to download a custom content piece (package file) and when i do it says
Failed - Insufficient perm...
how do i change it so i can download custom content??
