[WORKAROUND] 11.17.20 patch - game won't stop loading

I play on a Mac - My game did today’s update to fix the crashing and now it won’t load at all! Was waiting up to 10 mins and it was just stuck on the loading screen. I took off all my mods and still ...

    In the Origin app, right-click on the gear icon next to the Play button and select "Repair".

My sims game opens just fine, but will only go to the loading screen right after the opening Sims 4 screen. Why is this happening? It was working fine before the latest update on November 17, 2020. Another problem I had before this was when I could create a new sim, but could not place them in the worlds, because the world options would not load. Please help!!! ( Im on MAC. )

@Genobrian There are several topics on the first issue already. Try a “Repair” on the game and that should fix it.
