Aliens & Origin's "installation patch addon"

Hello!

I have found it impossible for any of my many sims to get abducted (& pregnant!), I just wanna go see Sixam... I've tried the satellite but I just get an Alien house party. I've tried the rocket ship but to no avail. Sims are in either doctor or scientist career but STILL nothing! Could someone please tell me if it's possible to increase the chances? Or to ask the kind people at EA to create a slider opportunity in the game options? Wishful thinking maybe... but I really want it to happen.

ALSO:

Every time lately when I go to open Origin it asks if I want to install a game and to select the language I want to install. I've hit cancel every time but it won't just go away, I caved and accepted... It then done an "Origin Installation Patch Addon" and underneath all it says is "Origin Installation Patch DLC". Could someone help me with this, please?! I don't know what it means, or what was installed or WHERE.

I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me with (ideally) both of these at once. Thank you in advance 🙂

    If you have a satellite dish, you should be able to select "Contact aliens" with it to increase the likelihood of abductions. Of course, this offers no guarantees, but it's a starting place. If you didn't get your own party, give it some more time! 🙂
