All children look like clones

Ever since the game first came out, all of my Sim's children look exactly the same, but look nothing like the parents. This has happened on all of the games I have played on, all the different parent...

Did you try without MC Commander now ? 2014 is a long way and there have been many genetic issues fixed and new ones introduced.

So I would need you to test on a vanilla game on the current version of the game.
