I moved my sim into University to go to school and was made to "sell" her home in order to live in the dorm. Upon graduating, she went back to Windenburg to buy back her house/lot and all of her furniture and plants were gone.
@AlorrinInk When you moved from Windenburg, what options did you choose in the pop-up window?
If Sell Furniture is chosen, the furniture and decór plants stays in the house you leave. If Keep Furniture is chosen, the objects are found in Household Inventory when moved to the new lot. If you chose Keep Furniture, are they not in your household inventory? It has a little box as an icon, and is accessible from within Build/Buy mode.
