@hopemvm Hopefully this is a simple case of the game reading a different Sims 4 folder than the one that contains your data. Here's how to find the folder:

If that doesn't help, please list the full file path to the folder Sims 4 is reading. Please also post a screenshot of the contents of the folder that contains your saves, as in, I'd like to see the save file names and dates. Include the address bar, above the list of files and folders, in the screenshot.
