alt won't work on Sims 4
I'm trying to move/rotate objects more freely in my game but alt isn't working. Cheats are on, I get "Cheats are enabled" in the text, and move objects is also on. I try to move stuff using my Alt key and it's not working at all, but my actual alt key does work. Any help?
@8ha8vzrq14ih Have you enabled the Sims 3 camera? (It's a button on the UI in the upper-right corner of the screen.) This is required for free rotation, although you should still be able to move an object off the grid while using the Sims 4 camera. You also shouldn't need to use cheats.
Please also keep in mind that items placed on top of a surface, for example clutter on a desk or table, need to fit into predetermined slots on the surface. They can't be freely placed without some trickery.
