Asus TUF for Sims 4?
Hello! My first post here! In the market to buy a a new laptop, I study but also want to play Sims 4 on it. I want a laptop that will run it REALLY well with mods, expansion packs, and CC. It drives...
Thank you so much for contributing to the world of forums! I really appreciate your time and effort to replying to a total stranger!! 🙂
I’m only a few days away from picking up my laptop! Just thinking… should I stick to the 512gb or should I upgrade to the 1TB. I plan to own as many sims expansion packs as possible! Is it worth going for the 1TB or is 500gb more than enough?? Thank you again!!
@ItsJordyKings For Sims 4 alone, 500 GB is more than enough, and more than you could reasonably use. The game itself with all current packs is just under 60 GB, and while you could in theory download enough custom content to eat up the rest of the storage, your loading times would be unbearable before you got to that point. Saves aren't generally that large; even with lots of backups, you'd be looking at a few gigabytes of data.
If you planned to play several other large-ish games, or you wanted to store other data like a photo or movie collection, it would be best to go to 1 TB. For only Sims 4 and maybe one other game, you don't need it.
