I can only see Brichester to play in worlds, with my older saves and when I try to make a new file. None of the base game worlds show up. Help?

Usually repairing the game will clear up this type of issue for PC/Mac users.
Right click on the game in Origin. Choose repair and wait for the action to finish.
If you have mods or CC in your game they may need to be updated.
Testing on a vanilla (no mods/cc) folder is the best way to investigate causes of issues.
