@AllyyC The site you linked lists one laptop that's overkill for all the games you listed, plus four that would run TS3 badly, especially with all packs installed. (TS4 performance would be better, but I doubt any of those models would handle the highest settings very well, even before you started adding cc.) The requirements for playing Minecraft on the highest settings are equal to or a bit below those of TS3, although Minecraft is much more playable on weaker systems.
What kind of budget do you have? I looked around a bit and found several models in the $800-900 range that would handle all of these games just fine. Or you could pay a bit more to futureproof your computer; TS4 may benefit from stronger hardware by the time all packs are released. If you list your budget and country, I can try to find something that works for you. Please also list anything else you'd like this computer to do. It sounds like you definitely want a laptop; do you need a lot of storage, or a larger screen, etc. Or, if you're not ready to buy yet, you can come back and let me know when you are. Sales change quickly, so it's always best to wait until you're ready to make a purchase.

800-900 would be fine, I don’t necessarily WANT cheap but everyone loves to save money, especially since this time it’s gonna be up to me to buy the laptop. And I live in the US. It’s not that I necessarily REALLY want a laptop, but that’s just kinda what I’ve always had so it’s just become the default in my mind and vocabulary. An actual PC/computer would be great too but those can be a lot pricier and I feel like they’re more confusing (only cause you can build them yourself and change so many things even though I know you don’t have to, it’s just another thing that I imagine when I think of them.) If they aren’t pricier or more confusing then I’d be happy to hear those too!Thank you so much for your help so far too!
@AllyyC A desktop will be cheaper than a laptop if you don't include the monitor, and it will come with stronger components. Yes, there are more variables, but prebuilt desktops are, well, pre-built, just like laptops. If you did end up going with a custom desktop, I could pick out the hardware for you, provided you told me what kind of performance you wanted, and how much you were willing to spend.
On that note, there really are too many options out there to list. So if you could answer a few questions, it would help narrow things down, and I could start looking for the best models for you. So:
- What kind of budget are you working with? Of course I'll try to save you as much money as possible, but spending a bit more will get you better parts, obviously. So it would help to know where the line is.
- Do you want a better graphics card to futureproof your computer? Specifically, an Nvidia 1050 ti is perfectly fine now, as is the new 1650. Do you want the next card up (a 1060), which would ensure that you'll always be able to run TS4 on the highest graphics settings? Or even something a bit better? Or is a 1050 ti or 1650 enough?
- What are your storage needs? If you're only planning to run those three games, you'd be fine with a single 512 GB drive, but if you have a lot of music, movies, photos, etc., you may want 1 TB, or potentially even more.
- Would you be comfortable getting a desktop and finding yourself a good monitor? This isn't something I'd want to pick out for you because a lot of it comes down to personal preference, how you like the look of a particular monitor. (You can always go to Best Buy and check out the different brands.)

Um for budget, upwards of 1000, maybe even going a bit beyond that would be okay. (I don't know too much about computers so idk what prices are ACTUALLY high and low)
A higher graphics card would be nice but isn't needed.
Once again, storage isn't too big of a priority but I would HATE to fill it up and be stuck. So higher would be great but is also not needed.
Getting a desktop would be something I would take into consideration but that also would make my price point vary as well since I'd need money to go to the monitor.
I am sorry this was so blunt, I have no idea how to make it seem nicer and smoother, I am trying to not sound mean but I don't know how that's going. Thank you again, SO very much, it means a lot that you are trying to personalize this as I was thinking I would get a very broad answer, it means a lot that you are going out of your way to do something so tedious :D !
