Bought an expansion in store and do not have paper receipt for activation code

Question

Hi, I bought a Sims 4 Digital Download Expansion Pack Card (Seasons) from Walmart (In Store), my father took the receipt with him. I did not try to download the expansion pack until a week later when I realized that the paper receipt had the activation code on it. I have no idea where the receipt is so I can not download the game using the card itself and I do not want to have $40 wasted. Can somebody please help I do not want to have to buy the expansion pack over again, so is there a way to get the expansion pack still regardless of having the paper receipt ?
