Bought new laptop, why aren't my creations showing up in gallery?

So I bought a new laptop and installed Sims4 on it through Origin. (Not through the actual game CD but I am sure that doesn't mean much) On my previous laptop I saved a lot of content I created to the gallery, and expected all this content to show up even though I am using a new laptop, but it did not. There is nothing there. None of my builds or households. I even checked the 'custom content' box because some of these creations had cc. Still nothing. Where did all my creations go? Am I doing something wrong? Any help will be appreciated.

Are you sure that you uploaded all your creations to the gallery and not just saved them to your library? Saving to library just mean that you saved your creations on your computer in your documents folder. You shoud copy your Tray folder from old laptop to the new one in the same or approximate location I believe. It's usually in C:\Users\youraccountname\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Tray.

To upload to the gallery you shuld press the "upload" button (this one in the shape of a cloud) at every creation you've done. Only then they'll appear at your catalog in the gallery.

    Best wishes 🙂)

P.S. Sorry if I've made any mistakes. English is not my mother tounge.

  • Oops! I understand now! I thought that saving it to my library was the same as saving it to the gallery. 😕 In that case I will get all my info from my tray folder. Thank you so much for your help 😃
