Bought/downloaded Sims 4, no files in Electronic Arts file in Documents?
I bought and downloaded The Sims 4 yesterday from Origin. For some reason it's telling me I last played the game for three hours in August when I've never played the game before, especially not on my laptop, and it wasn't out in August was it? Anyway... I paid for it, downloaded it, it's o my desktop BUT it won't open when I click on it, I can't click "play" in Origin, and when I went to go see if there was a corupt file, there wasn't even a Sims 4 folder in my Electronic Arts folder!! So it ceases to exist, and when I right click & open file location or whatever and try run the start up application, nothing happens.. Even when I try to run as Administrator... So I go to uninstall to try reinstall and I get
"One of the following applications should be closed before continuing the install/uninstall:
Game\Bin\TS4.exe
Game\Bin\Core\ActivationUI.exe"
What the hell do I do? All I wanted to do was play the game, now I feel ripped off and like I should get a refund 😕mileysad:
Did you play the demo ? Those hours seem to carry over.

Do you have the game in th Origin_games folder ?
Try right clicking on the game in Origin and hit repair game.
Do restart your computer before you do try that.
