Broken game when pop-ups appear, please help?
Hi, please can someone help me with my game?
When I play and a normal computer pop up comes up on my screen or I adjust the volume my game glitches and creates pixels around whatever popped up and blocks my screen even after the notification or pop-up goes away. I have attached an image to show what I mean. When I click the windows key and my sims screen goes off for a second it goes away and isn't a problem but it is annoying to do this every time I play as there is always a pop-up.
Please can someone help?
I play on my PC - Lenovo and have windows 11. I have the game downloaded and use mods, currently MCCC and WonderfulWhims. I have removed both of these mods but it hasn't fixed the problem.
I have also removed all packs and it hasn't worked to fix it.
My game version is 1.110.311.1020
@chipmunk188 Please update your laptop's graphics driver, which is from 2020 and is probably the issue here. Lenovo doesn't offer a newer driver, but AMD does:
Run the installer as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator." Restart your computer after installing and before trying to play.
If you happen to get any crashes, please open Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > ConfigOverride and delete anything inside.
