- I did try that because I saw it in one of your other posts. I only use widows defender and windows firewall. I shut both off and went back into the Demo and still got the same error message.

Uh. Have to look into it tomorrow. Late here. There's just not enough solutions around yet.
Did you try googling the message to see if someone else has the same issue ?

Hello,
I don't know if it's a bug or a feature: I can't figure out, when hairstyles and outfites go together and when not. What I mean: I start a new family and a new sim, give him a hairstyle with everydaywear active. Switch hairstyles and change facial and body things on him. When I am done working on his face and body I start switching outfits categories to dress him properly. Half the time he keeps his hairstyle. Often he has another hairstyle in all outft categories, sometimes even different hairstyles on the other outfit categories.
I'd really like it as a feature that a hairstyle chosen on everyday is transfered to all other outfits but can be changed from there. I just don't like that I have to choose the the same hairstyle five times to keep the one style with all outfit categories.
If anybody has an idea what triggers different hairstyles with the outfits?
Greetings

- Yes, I tried googling but couldn't find a solution.

For me they kinda stay on the hairstyle that was first chosen and changing only changes it for one outfit. There's a lock button missing like Sims 3 has but I don't think it's a bug.
I'm going to list it anyways as could be done better.

The demo works perfectly for me,but sometimes when I go to start it up, it freezes for a bit on the maxis or ea screen (mostly the maxis). Is this happening for anyone else? If not, what could be causing it?

For me it's more during the intro video. Happening since the last updated.

Okay. I just wanted to know if it was only happening to me. Thnx 🙂
In early CAS demos and promos, it looked like the original creator of a household uploaded to the Gallery would show up if someone downloaded it, modified it, and uploaded it back onto the Gallery. Here's a link to a screenshot from the E3 presentation showing how this seemed to be intended to work - note "Creator: SimGuruRyan, Modified by: Sir Frogster":

But today someone who had commented on one of my uploads then uploaded another household that clearly has my original creation in it (the Sim does have one different trait, and there's another member of the household). You would expect resemblances between people's Sim versions of the same real life character/person, but these are clearly absolutely identical.
I'm guessing this person assumed, as I would have, that I would get credit for the original creation of this Sim, and it was an honest mistake. But if all it takes for it to look like you made the Sim is to change it a little bit, what's the point of the original "creator" and "modified by" system? I worked really hard on that Sim, and don't like not getting the credit for it.
My sim:

The sim uploaded today by someone else:
What will be the actual system for protecting people's creations? Is it just not operating in the demo?
ETA: In case it's useful, the person did acknowledge that they had downloaded and then re-uploaded the Sim, so it's a genuine case of missing Creator cred.

@Cogitotoro I've merged this with the bug thread. I'll add it to the first page later. There does seem to be some mechanism in place but as you say, doesn't work properly.
