Bugged Campfire?

SOS When trying to have my Sim roast a fish he caught on the Rocks of Fire campfire, I discovered that when directed to use the "roast" or "play" interactions, he'll just wave his arms and complain ...

    Do you have chairs "attached" to the campfire that he can sit on? I always do so I don't know, maybe they sit on the ground otherwise, but that could be a problem?
    Don't have the game on my laptop so can't test it, but my little sister's getting Outdoor Retreat tomorrow for Christmas so I can look if no solution is found by then (don't worry she does not speak English) 😉

    Otherwise, try repairing the game? :O

The most annoying aspect is that it's intermittent. I play rotationally. One time it will be fine, the next it's broken. I started a clean new game because I wanted to see if I could figure out what I was doing that caused the break. I started with the assumption that it was something in my Mods folder, but no, it broke in a clean new game before I had a chance to test out any of my mods. Ended up by giving myself a headache.

This is how the OR campfire should work.

I am having this same issue in the game. I try to use an action at a campfire and they all give me the routing "can't get there" thing. I've tried a few different campfires around Granite Falls and they all seem to have the same problem. Tried Debugging the campfire, nope, debugged myself AND the campfire, nope. I even turned on the build anywhere cheat and got rid of the campfire and chairs around it and spawned new ones and no dice. I've also tried repairing my game and that didn't work either. I'm pretty much stumped for ideas here. 

I do have a thought here, when trying to do these things is it necessary to have other people around the campfire? Or can you do actions solo? I'm going to try to test this in my game.
