Build Mode not working on Sims 4 with new update

Dowloaded the new update (6/19/18) and Build Mode isn’t working. When i click the build mode icon it takes me to build mode but nothing shows up at the bottom of my screen...no options. I’m also find...

are you using any mods in your game ? Many are no longer compatible with the new patch.

try right clicking on the game in origin and hit repair game.

Trying that now. Was on chat with EA tech support. Person I chatted with says my game seems to be fine and it’s a technical issue. I was told I’ll be sent some troubleshooting tips to hopefully resolve the issue.

I'm in the same boat. Repairing does not resolve the issue. Any save file I choose has the same result. CAS works fine, gameplay works fine but whenever I go into Build Mode I cannot leave, save and build/modify my lots. It is very frustrating.
