C Drive to D Drive Mods Folder HELP

Switching from C to D Drive (C Drive full)

Mods folder confusion/help

Alright, here we go. I'll try to be coherent in my explanation lol

C drive is completely full. Had to un-install my Sims 4 game in order to transfer the folders over to my D drive that has a TON of space. Worked.

Played a game and saved it in order to open up my mods folder and made sure the mods are enabled in the options. Quit the game.

Checked the documents folder in the D drive (D is where the game is installed) for the mods folder and could not find it.

Checked the C drive's documents folder. THERE it is.

I have no room on my C drive to put any mods into it, so, I move (I made sure to cut, not copy the folder) the entirety of the Sims 4 folder (found in the C drive's document's folder) into the D drive's document folder. Seemed to work. just fine. Placed a few of my favorite mods into the folder (already extracted and everything) and restarted my game.

Nothing. No mods to be found in-game. Quit game.

Looked back into my D drive, all looks normal.

Looked into my C drive. There it is. Back again. Even after I moved the folder! It came back!

Any suggestions?
