Camera not following Sims / Child tagged as baby

Since the latest patch, my camera will not follow my Sims out of a designated area. When at the Ruins for a party, my Sim walked off and I could not get the camera to follow. But wherever they went let them use the bathroom and eat some chips. Hopefully not at the same time.

Problem 2: My child aged up but the game is still tagging the Sims as a baby. It's really annoying to have the tag there ALL the time.

Help please!
