Can I play the sims 4 on a dell inspiron 3000 laptop?

I got a new laptop and am really looking forward to playing the sims. Almost every website has said yes, but I want to be sure before buying the game. If not the sims 4 could I buy the sims 3?

Did it work cause I was thinking to buy the dell Inspiron 11 3000 2 in 1 laptop.

    @5408215  The original poster is long gone by now.  But if you post a link to the product page for the specific laptop you're considering, people here can tell you whether it would work for Sims 4, and how well it would likely run the game.
