Can only get male babies in TS4

I have now had a total of seven pregnancies with my Sim family. Every time I have got a boy baby. The storyline is based on a fanfic and I would like a girl first, to keep in line with that, but no, seven gameplay pregnancies later and it is another boy. There appears to be no way to fix the gender, so can EA fix their bloody randomiser?

    You have to wait for them to be a child though.

    I've now had 12 pregnancies. 12. And every single one has been a boy.

    Is there any known fix or is TS4 just terminally glitched?

    I'm on my 3rd generation of Sims and have had 8 boys! No girls to speak of ☹️

    There's now a way to influence that

    • For Girl Eat strawberries/listen to pop music on the radio.
