@dianaquast Those specs would run Sims 4 on ultra graphics settings, although the graphics card is only barely good enough for ultra settings now. With future expansion packs, you may need to dial back the settings to a mix of high and ultra, or even just high.
Would you be getting this laptop new? Its hardware is three years old, although that doesn't mean the laptop is necessarily quite that old. Depending on the price, you might be able to do somewhat better on the core components. On the other hand, if you're looking specifically for a lightweight laptop, this isn't a bad option—most gaming laptops are significantly bulkier and heavier than the Vivobook line.
If you'd like to see other options, I can take a look; please list your budget and country, as well as any other details that matter to you. But if you'd rather stick with this one, it should run Sims 4 well enough.

@dianaquast That isn't a bad computer for $700. Where would you be buying from? I'm not at all familiar with what's available in the Dominican Republic, although it sounds like you might be looking at U.S. stores. Let me know what stores deliver to you, or alternately if you'll be buying while in the U.S., and I'll see if I can find some other options.
