Cannot find the product code on my Sims 4 Collectors Edition.

I bought the collectors edition this morning for sims 4 from EB games, I assumed that a game like sims 4 would come with a product download code as my cd drive in my pc does not work. But I only have the sims 4 serial code for when the game is installed, I've gone over the cd case and pieces of paper multiple times and also called EB games and jb hifi with no luck, now im on the phone to ea games but have been on hold for over 10 minutes. Please if anyone can help me id be very greatful!
