I seem to be having the same issue. I have uninstalled and then reinstalled my game, which then the game loaded but would not recognised my previously saved game. I then tried renaming the save files in folder as followed on another post, but that did not work.
I've chosen to restart my game from scratch and which seemed to have fixed the problem I've managed to play the game twice, logged back on tonight to find the same error is popping up again.
I wonder if it is a bug from the latest update. Just hope someone has the answer to this very annoying problem.

I am having the exact same issue as the people above.
Had the specified file cannot be found two days ago, spent the whole day tring to find solutions, nothing worked but uninstalling my game and EA app and reinstalling everything.
I lost my saved files.
Started again, thought I was clear, but now problem again. What in the world is going on? I'm not going to spend 2+ hours everyday uninstalling and reinstalling all my content, losing all my saves until then just to play to a game I have spent several hundreds dollars on!
EA are pros at taking our money for every little bit of content, the least they could do is spend some of that money to fix their terrible app and buggy games!
I'm really mad right now.

I'm having this issue now, have you managed to fix it? If so, please tell me what you did!!
- 8 months ago@SmileyGirl1221 check your antivirus. it says in tread above, it was same for me and now it works. your anti virus is probably quarantining ts4. when you un-quarantine it make sure to put ts4 as an exception so it wouldn't do it again and be careful not to delete your game through you antivirus accidentally
