I have uninstalled and reinstalled The Sims 4 multiple times and I still receive the same 2 errors. I have no mods to the game at all. When I click to play the game, the 1st error message that pops up is "The system cannot find the file specified"
When I go to repair the game, and loads a 'repair' a few times, then the 2nd error message pops up "Failure to create folder: The EA app requires full control permissions to create this folder. Reach out to EA Help for more information."(then shows folder path, but I am unable to click into the folder.)
Hi, I had the exact same problem and after reading the replies below about Avast I thought I’d have a look at my Anti Virus software. I use AVG and sure enough found ts4 file in there. Restored it and game loaded up straight away 🙂

How did you find this? I cannot seem to find how to look at the files in AVG.

Dang... So, I tried all of the suggestions so far and none of them worked... The Sims 4 has its own files, but they are all empty (except for the music for some reason) I'm so confused.
