Cannot save in build mode

Product: The Sims 4
Platform: PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Always (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.108.329.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Vintage Glamour Stuff, Vampires, Tiny Living, Spa Day, Snowy Escape, Seasons, Romantic Garden Stuff, Realm of Magic, Perfect Patio Stuff, Parenthood, Outdoor retreat, My First Pet Stuff, Movie Hangout Stuff, Moschino Stuff, Luxury Party Stuff, Laundry Day Stuff, Jungle Adventure, Island Living, Holiday Celebration Pack, Growing Together, Get Together, Get To Work, Get Famous, Fashion Street Kit, Eco Lifestyle, For Rent, Discover University, Dine Out, Desert Luxe Kit, Cottage Living, City Living, Cats & Dogs, Bowling Night Stuff, Blooming Rooms Kit, Backyard Stuff
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Open the game and enter build mode. Within a few minutes, the game will no longer save. Going to build mode from a household or the world doesn't matter.
What happens when the bug occurs? The game doesn't save. It will save directly after opening (I saved every ten seconds) but then stop after a few minutes. The game doesn't crash, it just will not save. The 'save and exit' button does nothing. Exiting without saving is still possible, as is continuing to build.
What do you expect to see? The game saving when the save button is pressed.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? No. All mods are disabled in settings.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? After the pre-Lovestruck update on 25/07/2024.

    @doranna24  Just to be thorough, please remove the Mods folder.  I've seen at least one person say that disabled mods somehow still had an effect, and it's a simple test.

    If that doesn't help, does this happen no matter where you build, or only on certain lots or when using certain builds from the Gallery or your library?  Please test if you haven't already.

    If this happens on any lot, even a blank one, in your main save, please test a new save, for comparison's sake, and still with the Mods folder removed.
