Cant download packs sims 4

I recently was forced to switch to the ea app and for some reason whenever I try download expansion packs or game packs etc. , nothing happens no error message and anything like that. It downloaded f...

Hi there @larniehalloran,

Let's try the following steps to get your content installed:

  • Open task manager, locate EA Background Service, and end task
  • Clear the cache for the EA app
  • Run the EA app as an administrator 
  • Check for any background applications blocking the EA App
  • Try lowering your User Access Control Settings:
    • Close the EA app
    • Click the Windows button and type "UAC" in the search field
    • In the User Access Control window, click and hold the slide bar —slide it to the lowest setting available
    • Click Okay the bottom of the window
    • Open the EA app client and try starting the download again

If you're still not able to get your expansions downloaded once you've run through these steps, please let me know!

I had the same issue. And it’s in my get to work pack. It downloads the other ones but not this one I’ve tried everything I’ve even went to my other computer and it’s the same issue
