Can't find any of Sims4 files.

I did backup my saves and mods, so that's not an issue. However, the first time ever I had downloaded this game, it was saved in the "D" drive. But as Sims4 is technically downloaded in "C" drive, it was constantly getting overloaded. So after backing up, I deleted everything. That must've been a huge mistake, because now I can't simply find any files related to the game except for the main software which is shown on my desktop. There's literally nothing I can find on any drive. Only the files related to EA app and Steam app exists properly. I feel like I might have to do a complete factory reset on my PC and increase the size of "C" drive to not have to deal with this ever again. Losing my saves isn't necessarily a huge issue as I had saved most of my builds on my game library. I just want to find the folders where all the saves, mods, etc are shown.

  • @klkryu  There are two Sims 4 folders on any computer where the game has loaded at least once.  One contains the game's program files, which you can choose to install anywhere.  The other contains the user data: saves, Tray files, mods, etc.  This folder will always be in Documents > Electronic Arts regardless of where you've installed the program files.

I'm not clear about what you deleted and what you backed up.  If your backup contains saves, you simply need to put those saves in the folder Sims 4 is actually reading.  Here's how to find it:

You can also search your computer for Slot_ , which is at the beginning of every save name.  If you find any saves, you might also find Tray files or other user data you'd like to preserve.
