Can't install The Sims 4, Can't install VC++, Access Denied Issue

Did you check if your computers Windows update are up to date? 

Also try this:

1. Go to Windows Update

2. Click Installed Updates

3. Find Update KB2918614 in the list and uninstall it.

4. Restart your computer.

5. Run Sims 4 installation again.

    My computer is fully updated aside from an Intel HD graphics driver update which I've never been able to install. I've removed the KB2918614 update already and it didn't work.

        Sounds like an issue with Windows tbh.

        I'm not much use with those
