Re: [CURRENT ISSUE] Sims 4 Failed to Launch Game

Hello! Today, after an eternity without playing The Sims 4, I decided to pick it up again with great enthusiasm, but I was disappointed to find myself unable to. At first, everything was fine, but when I tried to press play or load game, at first it loaded and then an error notification appeared, saying that the game could not be loaded and that it was recommended to restart the app. I did this and it still didn't work. I tried creating a new game, but the same thing happened, and even trying to play with the game's default characters, it still didn't work. Then I tried repairing the game in EA, and uninstalling and reinstalling it. It didn't work either. I tried clearing the EA cache and restarting the app, but I still can't play :(. Does this happen to anyone else?

    Yeah i have the same problem.. It's been saying this ever since this morning. I restarted my laptop, deleted my cachefiles etc. I think many others are experiencing this too, i've seen other posts from hours ago with the same issue. It will probably get fixed soon!

    i have completely removed all MODs and CC; re-uploaded my Window 11 and uninstalled / reinstalled EA numerous times.  It has to be EA.

    I have the same problem, I've cleared the cache on the EA app, restarted the EA app, took out mods/custom content. Restarted PC, reinstalled games. I tried online play and offline play,  it still won't load.....crazy

    I've been having the same issue for over a week.  I have deleted all my mods and CC and re-installed the game numerous times.  I am not sure what is happening in EA but I can't get into my Sims 4 game either.
