Cant make desktop shortcut

Hi, I'm trying to put a shortcut to Sims 4 on my desktop but can't find the file anywhere. When I go to  C:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 4\__Installer I only find two exe files called cleanup and touchup. When I search for Sims 4 on my computer it won't show up, I have to open EA to be able to launch it. I do not find a bin file/folder either. Does anyone know what the issue is and where I can find it? I do not use origin and I've searched my computer for ts4, exe, bin, and even game but nothing shows up.
