hello, i was referred here by support. my game will not start and i get the error pictured.i tried a clean install of GPU drivers, giving sims 4 its own profile, repairing the game, removing mods, repairing EA, and reinstalling EA. also multiple restarts.i have gigabyte RTX 3060. the game worked fine once using the EA app since installing it. before i installed the EA app, i moved my game on a different drive using origin. after that, i went to test and had to install ea. installed, got into the game once. installed the GPU driver updates, and now i cant boot the game.help would be greatly appreciated!

i use the one that comes on windows10 and malwarebytes. the dxdiag is attached.

@clearios Please make sure Controlled Folder Access is either disabled or has exceptions set for Sims 4 and the EA App.

If it already has exceptions set, it's worth disabling CFA entirely just to see whether it makes a difference.

If that doesn't help, try playing in a clean boot:

The one service to leave enabled is the EABackgroundService, which the EA App needs in order to run. Disable the rest as described. When you reboot your computer, go through the Task Manager's background services list shutting down anything that doesn't absolutely need to be running, for example anything from MSI Afterburner to RGB software might still be active. If you accidentally kill the wrong process and it doesn't restart on its own, just reboot your computer again.

Your dxdiag lists a number of crashes of a component of Bonjour, some Apple network setup software ported over to Windows. I don't think it's likely that this is related to the Sims 4 crashes, but it's worth mentioning just for the frequency of the errors, and you may want to uninstall and reinstall (or not) the software.
